Vegan Green Bean Casserole | Side Dishes
One of my favorite side's for Thanksgiving is green bean casserole! This dish doesn't need to only come out for the holidays though. This creamy vegan version is the perfect side dish for any dinner or pot luck. Let's get cooking!
Ingredients: 4-5 Cans of Green Beans
14oz Cream of Mushroom Soup (Imagine brand is vegan)
1/3 Cup Unsweetened Dairy Milk
Onion Straws (Our local grocery brand was vegan, some of French's are too)
Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F.
In your baking dish, mix in your milk and 1/2 your soup. Sprinkle in pepper.
Drain your cans of green beans. Add half into the pan and stir well. Add in the rest of your green beans, the rest of your soup, salt to taste, and half of your onion straws. Mix well again.
Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the rest of your onion straws onto the dish. They will be slightly browned when finished.
