Vegan Chili Cheese Dip | Vegan Comfort Food

A few things about this drool-worthy recipe. First, I label this as "comfort food" and NOT junk food, because we should not be made to feel bad for eating a little unhealthy every once in a while. This dish was a recreation of one of my favorite snack foods growing up thanks to my mother! She put this together for me to enjoy during some super bowl fun and the entire dish was gone be the end of the night (and yes, I ate most of it). Only 3 ingredients are needed to make this dish that even your meat-eater friends will enjoy. Let's get cooking!

Ingredients: Vegan Cream Cheese (our favorite is by Tofutti)

1 Can Vegan Chili (Amy's brand is what was used, but feel free to make your own!)

1 Bag Daiya Cheddar Cheese

  1. Soften your cream cheese and layer it on the bottom of your baking dish. Next, spread out your can of chili. Top with a full layer of your cheese shreds.

  2. Pre-heat your oven to 350 Degrees F. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until warm throughout and cheese begins to get a bit melty. (Use photo above for reference of how the cheese will melt)

  3. Serve with your favorite dipping chip and enjoy!
