Vegan Apple Crisp


A perfect vegan desert to make just for fun, or the end a delicious holiday meal with. This dish takes about an hour to prep and cook. Lets get started!

Ingredients for Filling:

8 medium apples of choice

4 Tbs Lemon Juice

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 Tbs Flour (I use whole wheat for a bit healthier option)

1 Tsp Cinnamon

Sprinkle Salt

Ingredients for Topping:

1 Cup Flour

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Cup Oats (rolled or steel cut. if using steel cut, add 10 min on baking time)

1 Tsp Cinnamon

1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

1/2 Cup Soften Vegan Butter

1/2 Tsp Salt



1. Pre-Heat oven for 350. Peel, core, and dice apples. Set in large mixing bowl with lemon juice, brown sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Coat apples well then transfer to lightly greased dish.


2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.


3. Wash hands, soften vegan butter, and mix in vegan butter thoroughly with dry ingredients by hand.

4. Top Apple filling evenly with topping mixture. Bake for 45 minutes, until top is golden and apples are tender. Let cool and serve with you favorite non-dairy vanilla ice cream. enjoy!
