V-Grits and False Idol | Louisville's Hidden Gem

Every time I travel, I know I can rely on Breweries to offer a few vegan options. But finding a full vegan brewery with a ginormous menu feels like winning the Jackpot. V-Grits and False Idol in Louisville blew my expectations out of the water. The atmosphere (which you can check out below) features awesome art work, a tracker to show how many animals have been saved since they opened, and an overall cozy feel. And to top it off, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

The menu features everything from salads, to vegan mac and cheese trays, skillet french fries, a vegan crunch wrap; pretty much anything you want, they've got. Featured above is their Pineapple Tacos with Pumpkin Curry, a Nashville Hot Chick'n Sandwich with Mac and Cheese, Vegan Philly Cheese-steak, Nashville Hot Tender Basket, and oyster mushroom wings. Every item our group tried was full of flavor and not a single plate was left unfinished.

What makes this joint even better is they have their own brewery attached right to the restaurant so you can enjoy fresh brews with your food. This is the perfect place to sit down, take a break, and refuel for your next adventure. I will find my way back to Louisville solely to try more items of their intensive menu.
