Homemade Salsa | Vegan Snack Ideas

It's harvest season in our garden, and there is no better way to put all my peppers and tomatoes to use than making homemade salsa! I used a food processor but a high powered blender should also work well. The best thing about homemaking salsa is you can control your spice level and the chunkiness of your tomatoes to perfectly fit your taste buds. The ingredients below are to made a large tub full, so adjust as needed. Let's get cooking!
Ingredients: 8-10 Roma Tomatoes
1 Small Yellow or Red Onion
3 Tbs Minced Garlic
2 Banana Peppers
1-3 Jalapenos
Fresh Cilantro
Cumin
Salt and Pepper
3 Tbs Cane Sugar
Cut down your produce and all them to your food processor. Add in all seasonings besides your sugar and pulse. Once everything is chopped down, add in the sugar and pulse to your desired thickness. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
Can store in a canning specific container for later use. Otherwise I recommend letting it sit in the fridge for 2 hours to let your flavors settle together.
